In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK), skyview Towers is a new mode of travel that has made getting around Hyrule a breeze. Unlocking a skyview Towers also dispelling the mysterious fog to veils certain areas of the map. Location of Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower
Thyphlo Ruins is located in the most northerly part of Hyrule, west of Eldin Canyon, east of Tabantha Frontier, and north of the Lost Woods and Great Hyrule Forest. Location is marked on the map below.
How to unlock Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower
When you arrive at the tower, it is surrounded by four floating platforms. You can ascend ability to climb to the floating platform closest to the ground.
You’ll find two Zonai Rockets this platform. Once correctly attached to the block, will take you most of the way up to the top of the tower.
Place one (or both, it doesn’t matter) with the Zonai rocket’s tip facing up on top of the platform. When the Zonai rocket is hit, the platform will be raised into the air above the tower.
Glide to the platform on top of the platform. Then go to the golden ring right below the floating platform.
From there you can use Ultrahand to move the floating platform away from the tower roof.
This starts a quick cutscene. Return to the ground and speak with the maintenance worker within the tower. He will fix the console for you, after which you may use it to turn on the tower.
